I've followed the International Downtown Association's research and publications, with the aspirations of one day joining the network of city-building experts. I was fortunate to continue my involvement with the downtown management industry through college, and the opportunity to shadow different BIDs in New York City after graduation. It is because of this established trust, we are able to share resources and best practices with our colleagues. We are fortunate to keep our finger on the pulse of industry-wide trends, and equipped to address quality-of-life issues with the support from both the IDA network and professional staff.
