All of us at IDA are excited to release the new IDA website and member database. Not only is the member experience greatly improved, but our new system will provide enhanced and direct access to member resources in the Knowledge Center, new illustrative organization profiles, and most importantly, begin to harness the power of data - making IDA the central hub of place management industry intelligence. Visit downtown.org to get started today. Please note: the old website with domain ida-downtown.org will be accessible for a short time longer, but information will not be updated.
The 2017 Staffing & Salary Survey is now available, with all-new data to inform your hiring and benefits decisions. This latest issue of the survey includes an expanded sample (double the size of the 2015 survey), with 30% more respondents, and speaks to compensation trends in the U.S. and Canada. This report continues to provide salary information with percentiles. This new method of presenting data will better allow you to understand what CEO and key staff are earning as it relates to their organization's budget, size and geography. The report is comprised of three sections, including:
- CEO Profile detailing total compensation (now including paid time off), educational attainment, compensation determinants, benefits packages and much more.
- Staff Profile detailing staffing levels across departments, compensation of key positions (including percentiles), contract counts and more.
- Organizational Profile detailing budget-area allocations, geographic distributions, district populations, district types and more.
The 2017 Staffing & Salary Survey took great strides in realigning our methodology and presentation to make the most actionable report to date. Use the report to advance your own professional goals and to set organizational strategy.
Survey participants receive a discounted report price. Please contact Rebecca Bishophall, Membership Manager, at email@example.com to receive your discount code.
(Please note, the 2019 Salary Survey report will be released in June 2019.)
